This song reflects the state of consciousness achieved in the perception of the unity of all life; the oneness of everything, including the beloved, whether experienced as a lover, or within oneself. The inspiration was the sense of commonality between the yearning for love and satisfaction that I seek in the world, and the satisfaction and love that can only be experienced in the "divine within". The verses begin with reference to divine vision, and follow on with references to divine sound, the "music of the spheres". The final verse relates both the balancing effect of the "aliveness experience" on the breath, and the quenching of spiritual thirst by the realization of spiritual knowledge.
